Dream catcher: pretty to look at, or mystical powers?

While struggling to find sleep last night, I was looking around my room when I spotted my dream catcher. I made it myself with a willow stick, some leather string and a few feathers and beads. While gazing at it, and falling in and out of consciousness, I thought of the question: does a dream catcher really work? Well I fell asleep before I could come to a conclusion, but after thinking about it today, I've decided they do. Don't get me wrong, I'm not superstitious. If you think about it, Dreams are up in your head. If you believe that your dream catcher will catch bad dreams than it most likely will because your mind is the one in control, it can stop any dream, not the woven web of mystical power.

But mabye I'm wrong... What's your opinion?

Hmmmm. So the dream catcher catches your dreams, because you "think" it can. You are using your brain to stop them and you are calling it a dream catcher? I like that idea. I think I will call my brain an "Intelligence Catcher"!! Do you think it will work?

I like Mary Ellens idea, but I'm gonna have to disagree, it's all in the indian magic!
